For international entrants
Foreign citizens and stateless persons who have Russian language skills can enroll at the Institutes and Higher Schools of PSU for intramural and distant education on tuition paid basis. 
International applicants can enroll at the Institutes and Higher Schools of PSU for intramural education on a tuition-free basis in accordance with international agreements of Russian Federation, Federal Laws or quota for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons as per Admission regulations.

Application for education
International candidates who apply for intramural education at the Institutes and Higher schools should in accordance with Enrollment time frame information and in the period of June, 20 thru August, 04  fill-in Application for enrollment and send it along with the following mandatory documents by e-mail to the Admissions Office at priem@pgu.ru:

  • scanned copy of passport (page with photo and personal information);
  • certified translation of passport;
  • scanned copy of prior education certificate;
  • certified translation of prior education certificate;
  • scanned copy of medical certificate;
  • 2 photos.
Translations of documents should be certified by Consulate of Russia in the home country or by a notary public in Russia.
The originals of the documents (passport and its translation, prior education certificate and its translation, health certificate, 6 photos sized 3x4 cm on dull paper) shall be provided by international applicants upon arrival at the university.

International candidates who apply for distant education at the Institute of Distant Education and Informational and Communication Development should fill-in online Application for enrollment and attach all necessary documents.

In accordance with Enrollment time frame information applications are accepted in two timelines:

  • summer admission – from June, 20 thru August, 04;
  • winter admission – from November, 01 thru February, 08.
Majors and professions of distant education available can be found at http://www.pgu.ru/do.

The distant studies are offered on tuition paid basis and also provide international applicants with an opportunity to earn the second higher education Degree along with Degree earned at home university.

After confirmation of documents admission, originals of the documents should be sent by post till August, 04 (summer admission) and February, 08 (winter admission) to the address: 357506, Russia, Stavropol region, Pyatigorsk, Kalinina Ave., 9, Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Institute of Distant education and Informational and Communication Development.

Acceptance trials
In the period of July, 15 thru August, 07 acceptance trials are held in PSU according to the examinations timetable prescribed by the Admissions Office.

International applicants, who have Russian language skills and applied for intramural education on tuition paid basis, take acceptance trials in Russian language and foreign language as per Admission regulations.

International applicants who have Russian language skills and applied for intramural education on a tuition-free basis take acceptance trials as per Admission regulations.

International applicants who have Russian language skills can go through acceptance trials online. 

Enrollment
For intramural education
Applicants’ enrollment on a tuition-free basis and based on acceptance trials results, is held on August 03 and August 08, 2019.

Applicants’ enrollment on tuition paid basis and based on acceptance trials results is held after payment effected. The Orders for admissions are to be issued on July 29, August 03 and August 09, 2019.

For distant education
Applicants’ enrollment is held:
  • summer admission: July 17, July 29, August 09 2019;
  • winter admission: December 20, 2019, February 14, 2020.
Visa
International applicants from visa-waiver countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Moldova) don’t face visa formalities. Applicants from visa regime countries will receive a corresponding invitation to obtain Russian entry student visa for 90 days from the date of issue. Upon arrival at the university, it will be reissued by PSU on site into multi-entry visa.


Accommodation
University provides international students with comfortable shared accommodation (2-3 persons/room) at on-campus safeguarded dorms in a walking distance from educational buildings. Self-operated laundry facilities are available at the dorm. You should mention the necessity for dormitory accommodation in the Application for enrollment.

Insurance
All international students are supposed to carry internationally valid health insurance. University will also assist to get local health insurance for receiving free medical care at medical institutions within Russian Federation.
