In 1993 she graduated from Pyatigorsk State Pedagogic Institute of Foreign Languages (now Pyatigorsk State University), majoring in German and English languages, with a qualification of a Teacher of German and English Languages. In 2008 she defended her dissertation on 10.01.0 – Literature of the Russian Federation Peoples and received a rank of Candidate of Philological Sciences. A.O. Brodzeli has been working at Pyatigorsk State University since 1993. She has 12 years of scientific and pedagogic experience. In 2015-2016 she took professional retraining on Russian as Foreign Language and Methods of its Teaching at A.S. Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language. At present, she gives practical classes of Russian as Foreign Language, Literature at Preparatory Department for Foreigners at PSU; lectures and seminars on Literature of the North Caucasus Peoples within the master’s program of 44.04.01 – Pedagogic Education (Literature Education). Area of A.O. Brodzeli’s expertise includes literature of the Russian Federation peoples, Russian language literature of Russian peoples, history of world literature, literature and culture of Chine, teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language. These issues were reflected in a range of articles, monographs, academic and methodological aids. A.O. Brodzeli published more than 50 works, including articles in scientific and academic HAC journals, and international journals, included in the Web of Knowledge database. Associate Professor A.O. Brodzeli supervises a scientific and research work of students, which results in their participation in university scientific and practice conferences and publications of principal research results. Since 2009 she has been a main editor of Debut international literature journal, which publishes works of authorship and literary translation of world literature to Russian, made by students, masters, and postgraduates of PSU, as well as works of foreign students of PSU and literary translation to Russian of their texts, made by PSU students. |
