Margarita Lvovna Shapovalova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of General and Pedagogic Psychology at PSU.

M.L. Shapovalova graduated from the Department of English and German Languages of Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, majoring in Teacher of English and German languages in 1995. In 2006, she defended her candidate thesis on “Development of Integral Individuality of Primary School Students in an Educational Process” in 19.00.07 Pedagogic Psychology.

The area of M.L. Shapovalova’s expertise includes the development of an integral individuality in an educational space. She published more than 50 scientific works in Russian and foreign journals, including those of Scopus and Web of Science.

M.L. Shapovalova supervises an additional educational program of “Selfpresentattion or Are You Able to Communicate?” in Russian as well as in English at MIALE PSU and Health and Success Center.

From 2014 to 2017, being a coordinator of International Relations at the Institute of Humanology of PSU, she was one of the supervisors of the following international projects:

1. Global Cook Book – international cultural end educational project, initiated by East Carolina University (USA), with the participation of more than 20 countries of the world.
2. Global Understanding – International cultural and educational project, together with East Carolina University.

M.L. Shapovalova is awarded a Certificate of Honor in memory of the 10th anniversary of the Institute of Humanology For Responsible Labor, Devotedness to the Profession, Significant Contribution to the High-Qualified Human Resources Training. She received a Certificate devoted to the 75th anniversary of PSLU For Fruitful Work on Development and Improvement of Educational Process.

She has 25 years of work experience, including 15 years in higher school. Margarita Shapovalova has been working at PSU since 2006.
