Научно-образовательно-инновационная лаборатория «Инновационные гуманитарные технологии в теории и практике исследования и преподавания русской литературы, зарубежной литературы и литератур народов Северного Кавказа»

Associate Professor T.N. Kovalyova is the Head of the Academic Innovative Laboratory at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education.

Principal focuses of the research work:

-          Study for ontological fundamentals of the Russian literature, foreign literature, and the North Caucasus peoples’ literature;

-          Working out of the innovative projects and introduction of the results into the teaching practice of Russian literature, foreign literature, and the North Caucasus peoples’ literature;

-          Working out of innovative humanitarian technologies and their application in theory and practice of the study and teaching of the Russian literature, foreign literature, and the North Caucasus peoples’ literature.

Basic results of the research work:

The following projects were worked out in the Academic Innovative Laboratory:

Biblical images and motives in Russian Literature – research and educational project.

T.N. Kovalyova is the head of the project, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education.

Participants: II-IV year students, master’s students.

Achievements within the frameworks of the project implementation:

-          “Bible at School Literature Courses” roundtable, “Education and Spiritual and Moral Religious Values” roundtable, “Bible Influence on the Russian Literature” roundtable, “Influence of Koran on the Russian Literature” roundtable, “The Eternal Truths of Biblical Commandments” roundtable, “Do you know the Bible?” quiz.

-          The following scientific and practice seminars were organized “Biblical Images and Themes in the work of F.M. Dostoevsky”, “Biblical Images and Themes in the Work of L.N. Tolstoy”, “Biblical Images and Themes in the Work of I.A. Bunin”.

-          A subsection of “Biblical Images and Themes in the Work of F.M. Dostoevsky and L.N. Tolstoy” was organized within the frameworks of a student scientific and methodic conference “Young Science”.

-          Since 2013 more than 40 scientific student works have been published in the “Young Science” and “University Readings” as the results of the project.

-          In 2017, T.N. Kovalyova took part in the work of the International Scientific Conference “Evangelic Text in the Russian Language Science: quote, reminiscence, theme, plot, genre”, as the result of the participation in the conference and published an article “The Way at God’s Mercy in “Arsenyev’s Life” novel by I.A. Bunin (RSCI, Web of Science).

-          In 2017, Associate Professor T.N. Kovalyova signed up for grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (Christian Images, Themes, and Plots as a Dominant Basis of I.A. Bunin’s Literary World) to receive external funding of research.

Joking World of Russian Literature – research and educational project.

Professor A.F. Petrenko, Candidate of Philological Sciences at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education is the head of the project.

Participants: N.A. Orlova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, II-IV year students, masters from the Language Arts department.

Achievements of the project realization:

-          Every year the project publishes student research work. Since 2013 more than 30 research works have been published in student collected papers in Young Science and University Readings.

Practicum training “Active Technologies in Students’ Training in “Methods of Teaching and Education (Literature)” – educational, practice-oriented project headed by T.N. Kovalyova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of the Philological Education.

Achievements of the project:

-          Working out of the training seminars “Technologies of a problem study of a fiction”, “Role technologies in the students’ training on “Methods of teaching and education (literature)”, “Educational literature games at literature classes in a high school”, “National and regional component at the literature classes”, as well as practicum training “USE in Literature: fundamental principals, analysis, practice skills”.

Participants: IV year students of the language art department.

Contemporary Technologies of Literature Training – research, educational, practice-oriented project within the framework of master’s training “Literature Education”.

T.N. Kovalyova is the head of the project.

Participants: II year master’s students from the language art department.

Achievements of the project:

-          Worked our student academic practice-oriented mini-projects “Technologies of Problem Teaching of Literature: peculiarities of content and methods”, “Active and Interactive Technologies in Literature Training”, “Technology of Project Education in the Literature Teaching Methodology”.

Psychology-analytical practices of the literary text interpretation – educational project.

I.P. Bakaldin, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education is the head of the project.

Participants: II year students from the language arts department.

Achievements of the project:

-          Working out of plans for seminar classes, problem issues and themes for discussions and training. “Beowulf: psychological interpretation; a gallery of social and psychological types in “The Canterbury Tales” by G. Chaucer; “To be or not to be?” internal conflict of Hamlet in Shakespeare tragedy”.

“Debut” Creative Laboratory

A.M. Kazieva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Chair of Language arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education, is the head of the project.

Participants: A.O. Brodzeli, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education, I-IV years students of the language arts department.

Achievements of the project:

-          Organization of creative competitions “Young Prose”, “Young Poetry”.

-          Annual publication of the International Youth Literature Journal “Debut” with collected fiction written by students.

World of the North Caucasus Literature is an educational project with the frameworks of “Literature of the North Caucasus Peoples”.

The project is headed by A.M. Kazieva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education.

Participants: different departments students.

Achievements of the project:

-          Organization of the North Caucasus poetry nights “Sound of a Native Word”.

-          Organization of the meetings of students and lectors of PSU with poets and writers of the North Caucasus.

The Culture of China: Traditions and the Present is an educational project within the frameworks of “Literature of Eastern Peoples”.

The project is headed by A.M. Kazieva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the Chair of Language Arts and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education.

Participants: eastern studies department students.

Achievements of the project:

-          Organization of a mini-projects competition “Culture of China: traditions and the present”.
