Открытие Центра русского языка и культуры «Институт Пушкина» в Университете Кадиса (г. Кадис, Испания)
The formation of the Pushkin Institute Center of Russian Language and Culture in the University of Cadiz, Spain took place on November 14, 2016 within the framework of the implementation of the federal program of Russian Language in 2016-2020, and PSU project of the Pushkin Institute Network Formation as an international site for the Russian language promotion in a world cultural and academic space backed by the Russian Federation Government, Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

PSU experts – N.A. Orlova, Deputy Head of the Center of International Education of the Higher School of Language Art, European and Eastern Languages of PSU, and N.V. Khomovich, Supervisor of the International Ties of the Institute of International Service, Tourism, and Foreign Languages of PSU, who are connected with a fruitful collaboration with Cadiz University. They came with Russian symbols, videos, reading materials, presented Pushkin Institute, which works in PSU, and answered the questions about the principal activities of Pushkin Institute. Work process issues and prospect of the Pushkin Institute Center activity in Cadiz, further bilateral collaboration were discussed on a meeting with Juan Carlos Garcia, Director General of  International Ties of Cadiz University, Miguel Angel Pendon, Prorector for Planning and Academic work, Eduardo Romero, Director of International Centers, and Andres Santana, Director of Russian-Spanish Academic Center.

On November 15, 2016 PSU experts took part in the methodic union of foreign languages meeting, presented the educational opportunities of PSU and its Center of International Education, introduced technologies of the use of Education in Russian informational portal, and demonstrated its functions. Associate Professor N.A. Orlova organized a Russian language workshop with Spanish students who study Russian.
