30.03.2017On March 30, 2017 Natalya Kolesova, Director of Samara branch of Campus France, who supervise the Russian South universities where French language is studied, visited Francophonie Center of French Language and Culture of PSU, headed by I.Y. Kotlyarevskaya.
The purpose of this organization is to popularize French system of higher education abroad. Pyatigorsk State University has been working with Campus France since 2008, when Francophonie Center of French Language and Culture received a status of an Informational spot of Campus France.
Natalya Kolesova’s visit program included meeting with Professor V.E. Mishin, chairman of Management of International Relations and Educational Programs of PSU, and his deputy I.Y. Bogatyriova, during which they discussed further collaboration.
Natalya Kolesova presented scholarship programs and other possibilities of education in France for the students of IISTFL, IIR, and ITM who learn French language, and tutors. She told about administrative procedures and assistance of Campus France to Russian students while choosing educational programs, as well as while staying in France.
The next program part was the visit to the Institute of Roman and German Languages, Informational and Humanitarian Technologies, where N. Kolesova met E.N. Pronchenko, director of the institute, and A.A. Kornienko, head of the chair of French philology and international communication, as well as presentation of Campus France activity for the students.
