07.04.2017Within the frameworks of Russian-Britain year of Science and Education, the chair of English language and professional communication (headed by Professor T.A. Shiryaeva, Doctor of Philology) involving Management of International Connections and Educational Programs of PSU reviewed the results of 10 Top British Universities in the Eyes of Russian Students university competition on April 7, 2017.
There were more than 80 presentations in the following nominations: The Best Presentation in Russian for secondary vocational education students. Master’s students took part in 10 Top British Scientists, and 10 Top Achievements of British Science.
The best works of the students were chosen by the chair’s tutors: Associate Professors O.N. Budniaia, I.V. Zueva, senior lecturers S.A. Argashokova, V.A. Doktorevich, O.M. Litvishko, lecturers A.R. Arakelova, I.P. Gubina, M.E. Mikaelyan, A.G. Monogarova, T.A. Pchiolkina.
SVE students winners: ODLOG-301 IRGLIGT, PIOSO-301 Judicial Institute, PIOSO-303 JI.
High education students winners: ORM-101 HI, 201-TIM: NEM IRGLIGT, MPP-301 JI, TiP: NEM-401 IRGLIGT.
Diplomas were handed to the master’s students: Alina Khuszhokova, Igor Kurashenko, Mariya Shishkina.
Among honored guests were: dene of IRGLIGT, Professor E.N. Pronchenko, Professor T.A. Shiryaeva, Head of the chair of English language and professional communication, Associate Professor I.Y. Bogatyriova, deputy chairman of the Management of International Relations and Educational programs of PSU, Professor A.G. Kleyikova, coordinator of extracurricular and educational work of IRGLIGT.
The students showed ratings of Great Britain universities by their own ranking scale, and presented the works devoted to the Britain scientist and their achievements in different fields of science. Bachelor’s and master’s students showed great knowledge of English language, while SVE students demonstrated interesting presentations about the English scientists achievements, their own ratings of the British universities showing their creative potential and freshness.
