13.04.2017On April 12, 2017 Institute of Roman and German Languages, Informational and Humanitarian Technologies with network interaction with Donetsk National University held an International Master’s Linguistic Seminar online. It was devoted to two big events in both universities: Young Science-2017 Regional Interuniversity Scientific and Practice Conference in Pyatigorsk State University, and Comparative Study for German and Roman Languages and Literature International Scientific Student Conference in Donetsk National University.
This event as a scientific seminar for master’s student was not organized by chance, because it has been 4 years since master’s program of Comparative Study of Languages and Cultures, and Innovative Strategies of Oral Communication (Roman and German Languages) started working. This educational program under guidance of Professor A.A. Kornienko closely related to the subject of scientific conference of Donetsk National University.
The seminar was opened by Professor E.N. Pronchenko, Director of the Institute of Roman and German Languages, Informational and Humanitarian Technologies of PSU and Professor V.V. Danilov, Prorector for Scientific and innovational activity of DNU. Associate Professor N.S. Shavkun, Head of the Chair of German Studies and Intercultural Communication, Associate Professor A.G. Udinskaya, dean of the Department of Foreign Languages at DNU, Associate Professor E.A. Karasenko, deputy dean for academic work of the Department of Foreign Languages at DNU greeted the participants. Professor V.D. Kaliuschenko (DNU), Professor L.N. Yagupova (DNU), Professor V.F. Belova (PGU), Professor M.E. Morozova (PGU), Associate Professor N.V. Ustina (PGU), DAAD lecturer M. Wenzel (PGU) was the experts of the seminar.
Young scientists, postgraduates, master’s students, and both university students took part in the seminar. Master’s students of Pyatigorsk State University A. Saberzhanova (supervisor of studies Professor V.F. Belova) and M. Shishkina (supervisor of studies Professor M.E. Morozova) presented reports with scientific and practice results of studies within the master’s theses preparation. The important issues of comparing and diachronic studies of language units and categories, problems of literary text studies were discussed during the seminar.
