A range of interesting meetings took place in the Pushkin Institute – Center of Russian Language and Culture – with the guests from the University of Cadiz (Spain): Juan Carlos Galindo, director of the International Affairs Office, Eduardo Brusson, director of the Centers for Academic Collaboration, and Andres Santana Aribas, director of Russian-Spanish Center and Center of Russian Language and Culture “Pushkin Institute” of the University of Cadiz.
Students of the language art and pedagogic education department of the Institute of Translatology and Multilingualism, as well as Debut-UNI students, met the guests with a Russian folk dance “Kalinka”, traditional Russian loaf, and then during a brief press-conference they asked questions in Russian and Spanish languages about their impression from their visit to Russia and Pyatigorsk. After that V.E. Mishin, head of the Department of International Relations of PSU, I.B. Fedotova, Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, head of the Chair of language art and pedagogic technologies of philological education of ITaM, head of the Center of Russian Language and Culture “Pushkin Institute” in PSU, and N.A. Orlova, deputy director of the Center of International Education discussed with the representatives of Cadiz University possibilities of further collaboration in Russian language promotion and education in Russian language in Spain, fundamental activities of the Pushkin Institute in University of Cadiz.
