Location. The program will be located in Pyatigorsk – resort city, famous by its mineral springs, rich historical and literature traditions, connected with Mikhail Lermontov, an outstanding Russian poet, who lived and wrote his famous pieces here. Pyatigorsk is situated 80 km far from the Great Caucasian Range, which gives an opportunity to go on breathtaking tours.
Education. From 2 to 4 weeks of Russian language classes with 20 hours a week in small groups, combining the oral speech, grammar, and reading. Every class consists of 2 academic hours, 45 minutes each. A Certificate about the Russian language level will be given after the completion of the course.
Accommodation. Double room with every comfort in the dormitory near the university, bedclothes are included.
Dining is available in university cafeterias (€ 4-5 a day), and in nearby cafes, McDonald’s, and pizzerias. Dormitory kitchens are all set if you prefer to cook yourself.
Transportation. Local airport Mineralnye Vody is located 18 km north of the Pyatigorsk and offers several everyday flights from Moscow international airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo.
Costs include processing of applications, invitations for a Russian student visa, round trip airport pickups, placement interview, education and class aids, Certificate, and dormitory accommodation in a double room.
Applications to the Summer School of the Russian Language are submitted up to May 15, 2018.
