Victory of PSU Students in X International Competition for Student Projects in Foreign Languages in Minsk, Belarus

From March 22 to 24, 2018 the Chair of Foreign Languages of International University MITSO in Minsk hosted X International Competition for Student Projects in Foreign Languages. The students of the Institute of Roman and German Languages, Informational and Humanitarian Technologies Svetlana Amiralieva and Lilit Evoyan took part in this prestigious competition with a project in the Spanish language titled “Profi-Video-Tour”. The project was prepared under the direction of N.I. Filatova, Assistant Professor of the Chair of Spanish Studies and International Communication.

The students from different countries of Europe, CIS, and Russia as well as from different Belarus cities took part in the competition. Within the competition’s theme “Linguistic Diversity: Perception of the World through Language” the participants presented works in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian languages. The competition was organized in order to develop and improve students’ skills of public presentations, open their personal and creative potential.

All the participants made great performances, originally telling about the basic theme of the competition. However, there were 5 winners among 45 participants.

Students of our university successfully presented their project and won the competition. They were handed with first degree diplomas and souvenirs.
