The second international Forum “Russian Language and Literature in Modern World: Problems and Prospects” took place in May in Tehran, Iran. It was organized by the Iranian Association of the Russian Language and Literature together with the Chair of Foreign Languages of the Council of Humanitarian Books Revision at Institute of Humanitarian and Cultural Studies in Tehran, Iran. Professor Vyacheslav Shulzhenko presented his report titled “Iranian Text in Contemporary Russian Literature”. Professor showed that literature opened a sacred “Iranian” element, which connects historical destiny of the Caucasus and Western Asia countries and which today in many aspects determines geocultural specificity of the region. Iranian colleagues were interested by the collaboration with our university especially concerning Russian Language teaching.
