11.09.2018This week Institute of Roman and German Languages and Humanitarian Technologies receives a workgroup from the Austrian partner Institute of Applied Sciences of Sankt Pölten including Harold Wimmer, director of master studies, and leading tutor Johana Erd. They came in PSU as a part of the active agreement about the Academic collaboration signed in 2007.
Since the signing of the agreement, almost 30 students of our university have passed the semester education in Sankt Pölten. Participation of our students and tutors in festivals of the partner-institutions in Sankt Polten had become traditional.
Three-day visit program includes special seminars by Austrian colleagues for all the students who study German language in PSU: Input und ein Briefung zum Workshop and Werbrkampagne gestalten, as well as working out of group projects in these directions, acquaintance with Pyatigorsk and other CMW cities sights.
At the meeting with Professor A.P. Gorbunov, Rector of the University, Professor V.E. Mishin, Head of the Department of International Ties and Educational Programs, E.N. Pronchenko, Director of Roman and German Languages and Humanitarian Technologies, N.S. Shavkun, head of the Chair of German Studies and Intercultural Communication, and N.V. Papka, Assistant Professor they discussed practical issues of the collaboration broadening, implementation of a joint master’s program of double diplomas, recently signed by our institutions.
