From November 11 to 18, 2018, Moscow and Pyatigorsk hosted Russian-Georgian Youth Forum. Russian Union of Youth, International Legal Institute, Pyatigorsk State University, Georgian Association of CIS and Europe Institutions Graduates did the organization. The Forum was backed by E.M. Primakov Georgian-Russian Social Center.
Sputnik Georgia Informational Agency and Radio became the forums partner.
The Forum was organized in order to form projects and programs for a stable international youth communication and interaction, focused on the renewal of long-term relations and a better understanding of Russian and Georgian institutes’ values.
The biggest Russian social organizations, business communities, and leading expert pay a special attention within the Forum’s framework to the creation of Russian-Georgian projects.
A ceremonial opening of the Forum and plenary session devoted to the “Prospects and opportunities of youth’s participation in renewal of Russian and Georgian relations” took place on November 12 in Moscow at G.V. Plekhanov Russian Economic University, and the I Russian-Georgian Youth Business Forum took place on November 13 in Moscow at the regional department of Business Russia organization.
The second part of the Forum will take place in Pyatigorsk (at PSU) from November 15 to 18, 2018. It will include such sections as “Informational Space of Russia and Georgia” (11/12/2018, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.), “Cultural and Humanitarian Collaboration between Russia and Georgia” (11/15/2018, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.). A closing ceremony of the I Russian-Georgian Youth Forum will take place on November 16, at the square of Pyatigorsk State University. Pavel Krasnorutskiy, chairman of Russian Youth Union will visit the ceremony.
Based on every section’s results, the offers for Russian-Georgian projects will be formed. The realization of these projects will start in 2018-2019. It is planned that it would be a formation of Young Leaders of Russia and Georgia Club, a launch of the first Russian-Georgian youth business incubator.
