PSU Scholars to Take Part in the International Scientific Conference “European Intellectuals between XIX and XX Centuries” in Croatia
Pyatigorsk State University became one of the partners of the International Scientific Conference “European Intellectuals between XIX and XX Centuries” which is going to take place on June 3-7, 2019 in our Croatian partner Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. V.I. Shulzhenko, Professor at the chair of Linguistics, Russian Philology, Literature and Journalism, I.B. Fedotova, Associate Professor, Head of “Pushkin Institute” Center of Russian Language and Culture and head of the Chair of Literature and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education, N.A. Orlova, Associate Professor at the same chair, and V.Z. Akopyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Historic, Social and Philosophic Disciplines, Oriental Studies, and Theology will present their reports, lectures for students, and workshops for their Croatian colleagues at the conference.
The conference is organized by the Philosophic Department of Pula University and “Pushkin Institute” established with PSU support and headed by Irena Mikulaco along with Croatian and International Association of Russian Language and Literature Teachers, and Italian Institute of Culture in Zagreb.
The conference will include a celebration of the Russian Language Day and the 220th anniversary of A.S. Pushkin’s birth as well as rich literature and concert program based on the poet’s writings.
