5 March 2014, the Institute of Roman and Germanic Languages, Information and Humanitarian Technologies 5th-year students headed by Prof. T.F. Petrenko (French Philology Chair) organized «Gourmandise littéraire» round table discussion and tasting of such famous desserts as crème-brulee, madeleine cakes, chocolate fountain and others, which were described by French writers in their texts. The students exchanged their impressions of the palatability of the desserts and compared their assessment of the national cuisine with the famous French writers’ description of it.
