PSU Volunteers at Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix

A group of volunteers from PSU headed by Grigoriy Mkhitaryan, Deputy Director of the Volunteer Center, came back from Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix, round races world championship, famous royal races which are organized in Sochi for the sixth time. PSU volunteers worked at every Russian Grand Prix, so as in this year, when 35 people went working in media, protocol, accreditation, tickets office, with spectators and VIP guests.

Before going on Grand Prix Grigoriy Mkhitaryan organized preliminary training devoted to the peculiarities of the volunteers work at Grand Prix within the frameworks of the Tutor program.

PSU volunteers showed a high level of work during the championship organization, at the same time enjoying from staying in Sochi: volunteer office of Grand Prix made a great effort to provide volunteers with not only comfortable work conditions but also with a good leisure time after the work and presents from the organizers.

It is also worth noting that three volunteers went to Grand Prix within the mobility program of the Association of Volunteer Centers, so they had their travel, accommodation, and subsistence paid.

Russian Grand Prix volunteering is one of the most valuable for all the Center’s volunteers. Starting from 2014, more than 350 volunteers took part in the organization of Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix.
