06.06.2020Every year on June 6, Russia celebrates two holidays – the Day of Pushkin and Russian Language Day. The Center of International Education wholeheartedly congratulates all the Russian literature lovers.
Foreign students, supervised by Associate Professor N.A. Orlova, Deputy Director of the Center of International Education, realized a poetic flashmob project called “Pushkin via the Cross-Cultural Translation”. The students read a fragment from Eugene Onegin in different languages: Russian, Arab (Egyptian dialect), English, Turkish, Croatian, Italian (Sicilian and Naples dialects), German, French, Dutch. This innovative project is interesting and efficient for the Russian language and culture studying.
