Ruzanna Arkadyevna Babayan graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University majoring in Legal studies (International law) obtaining the qualification of “Bachelor of Jurisprudence”.

In 2016 she graduated with excellence from the Juridical Institute at Pyatigorsk State University majoring in 40.04.01 – Jurisprudence (master’s program of Domestic and International Mechanisms of Human Rights Protection) obtaining the qualification of Master.

R.A. Babayan has been studying at the Institute of the Highest Qualification Human Resources Training majoring in 40.06.01 – Jurisprudence (Constitutional Law; Constitutional Court Process; Municipal Law).

From 2014 to 2016 she was working as an academic work specialist at the Chair of Constitutional and Municipal Law.

Since 2015 she has been working as a lector at the Chair of Constitutional and Municipal Law at the Juridical Institute, and since 2019 at the Chair of International Law, Justice, and Law-enforcement at Juridical Institute. 

She has been a chairwoman of the North Caucasus Federal District Lawyers Youth Union since 2017. 

R.A. Babayan’s area of expertise: 
  • Domestic and international law;
  • Political processes and technologies;
  • Protection of human and citizen rights.
She took part in the grant programs implementation including Russian Federation President Grant and RFBR. 

She is actively involved in the organization of students’ research work. Since 2017 she has been a trainer of Pyatigorsk State University team in the P. Jessup competition on international law.
