E.N. Goncharova is a scientific worker at basic professional educational programs on enlarged majors of 43.00.00. She also supervises an academic and innovative laboratory “Timely Issues of Tourism, Hospitality, and Service Activities Development”.
From 1998-2003 she studied at Geography Department at Stavropol State University. In 2003, she received a higher education diploma in Geography, majoring in Tourism and Sightseeing Tour Activity.
In 2001-2003 she studied at the Economic Department of Stavropol State University. In 2003 she received a higher education diploma in Economy and Administration at Agricultural Enterprises.
In 2004-2007 she underwent postgraduate studies at Stavropol State University (at present North-Caucasus Federal University), majoring in 22.00.06 – Sociology of Culture and Spiritual Life.

Geography; Tourism Geography; Marketing Technologies in Tourism; Methods of Applied Studies in Service; Statistic Means for the Tourism Surveys Carrying Out; Ethnographic Tourism Management; Economic Geography and World Regionalistics; Tour Guidance.
Area of E.N. Goncharova’s expertise includes sociology of tourism, the socio-cultural potential of tourist space of the Caucasus Mineral Waters region, problems, and contemporary development trends of regional tourism. She is an author of more than 100 scientific works, including 6 monographs, more than 20 academic and methodic aids, 10 articles published in HAC journals, 4 articles published in an international Scopus journal.

Since 2005 she has been reading lectures on professional retraining at Multi-level Innovative Academy of Life-Long Education at PSU in Management and Technologies in Tourism and Hospitality.
Since 2015 together with a group of PSU students, she has been taking part in International Geographic Dictation.
Since 2016 she has been reading a course within the frameworks of internship of Russian tourist universities students, majoring in Spa-Resort Clusters as a New Form of a Regional Tourism Organization.
Since 2017 she has been implementing a program of professional retraining of additional professional education of Tour Guide at Multi-level Innovational Academy of Life-long Education at Pyatigorsk State University.
In 2018 she gained a right to participate in the WorldSkills demonstration exam assessment.
At present, she is the head of Tourism in International Communication Practice – scientific student club.
Every year she takes part in contests for The Best Student Work on Tourism and Service, organized by the National Academy of Tourism (Saint Petersburg) and Association of Tourism and Service Institutions (Moscow), Novosibirsk State Technological University (Novosibirsk), Sakhalin State University (Yuzhno Sakhalinsk).
She is a regular peer reviewer and opponent of candidate dissertations on 22.00.06 Sociology of Culture.
She has three certificates of state registration of databases:
