As a part of an educational and methodic activity, lectors of the Chair implement mini-projects, practice-oriented and the newest interactive educational methods and work in the electronic educational system EDU.PGU.
The single Resource center in Stavropol Krai works at the Chair. This is a partner project of “German as the second foreign language” which has ties with Goethe Institute at the Germany Embassy in Moscow.
Associate Professor N.M. Kashirina, Candidate of Philological Sciences is the manager of the project. She underwent a training of Resource centers experts in German language teaching as the second foreign language in Irkutsk, Russia. Associate Professor L.A. Proys and Associate Professor E.N. Melnikova, Candidate of Philological Sciences are the coordinators of the project.
An educational promotional project, systematically implemented together with the German side, is aimed at the introduction of the German as a first second foreign language in Russian schools. The aim of the cooperation is to provide informational, organizational and methodological support to general education institutions located in Stavropol Krai and the leading one, or to plan the introduction into the German language as the second foreign language. The objectives of the Resource Center, the coordination of the project at the local level, the interaction with regional educational structures, consultation, joint organization, preparation and testing of various activities for the target groups of this project, their analysis and synthesis, and the dissemination of positive practices in the other subjects of the Russian Federation.
There are programs of additional education, worked out for each foreign languages, which are taught at the Chair. “Third foreign language” and other profession-oriented educational programs are implemented at the training laboratory of the Business Center of Tourism, Service, and Consulting and in the Multilevel Innovational Academy of Life-Long Education.
The chair’s lectors on a regular basis organize educational, profession-oriented, linguistic, cultural and communicative events in the cultural and language centers of Italian and Portuguese languages. They are aimed at the formation and development of a complex of general cultural and professional competencies, their preparation for the employment and further carrier.
The Chair actively participates in the implementation of the international programs of academic mobility of students and lectors, exchange education, double diplomas, advanced training with partner institutions of the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism and other foreign organizations, linked with the international educational activity:
