24.07.2020
In the 2019/2020 academic year, ITAM has successfully implemented exchange education programs (Mevlana Exchange Programme, Erasmus+) for students and master’s students from different countries. This year faced the broadening of the geography of international exchange of the Institute of Translatology and Multilingualism. The Institute received students from Poland (University of Warmia and Mazury), Turkey (University of Anadolu, Selcuk University, Gazi University), France (Lille III), Croatia (Juraj Dobrila University of Pula). It is also worth noting a long-term 2+2 program cooperation on the education of students from Changchun University, China, at the Department of Literature and Pedagogical Education.

Educational programs of 14 students from different universities were coordinated by Associate Professor N.A. Orlova. The institute made a great work on the creation, approval, and implementation of the educational programs, issued certificates, and led an active educational work, which was an essential part of the Institute’s international life in the conditions of the pandemic.

International cooperation is gradually developing. This is shown by the linguoculturological roundtables (including online meetings), educational tourism, project titled “Pushkin in Different Languages”, virtual trips by Russia (all events were organized within the work of the Pushkin Institute, headed by I.B. Fedotova, and Vdokhnovenie creative workshop, headed by N.A. Orlova, and many more. Within the framework of international cooperation, a joint innovative scientific and research project of PSU and the University of Warmia and Mazury was initiated and successfully implemented (Associate Professor I.B. Fedotova, Associate Professor N.A. Orlova, Professor Iwona Ndiaye).

Activation of the internationalization process of ITAM on programs of exchange education was made possible owing to the joint work of heads and tutors, who are actively involved in the process: Y.Y.
